Responsibilities:

  • Use our CRM and Spotio technologies to identify and secure new business clients.
  • Travel to meet with business owners face-to-face, present customized payment solutions, and close sales.
  • Supplement outside sales with phone outreach and marketing strategies to generate interest and leads.
  • Provide tailored payment processing solutions, including POS system integrations for high-risk industries.
  • This is a hybrid role: Client calls and outreach are conducted from home, but in-person consultations with prospective clients are required. Reliable transportation and a professional presence for on-site visits are essential.

Requirements:

  • Experience in outside sales, B2B sales, or merchant services preferred but not required.

The Opportunity

Our Sales Management program is designed to develop standout sales professionals into exceptional team leaders. Over 3-6 months, you’ll transition from a top sales rep to a Sales Manager, learning through mentorship, hands-on training, and real leadership experience.

Phase 1: Leadership Criteria for Consideration

During the first three months, you’ll be evaluated on key attributes that define leadership at Ace Merchant Processing, including:

Phase 2: Sales Manager in Training (SMIT) Transition

After proving yourself as a top leader, you’ll enter a three-month Sales Manager in Training (SMIT) program:

  • Month 4: Start with shadowing our current sales leader to understand daily leadership tasks. You’ll also complete Modules 1-4 of our SMIT Course, focused on foundational leadership and management concepts.
  • Month 5: Take on co-management responsibilities, collaborating with the current leader on team management and performance tracking. Complete Modules 5-8 of our SMIT Course, honing your skills in team dynamics and performance metrics.
  • Month 6: Step into an independent leadership role, with ongoing support and oversight from our sales leader. You’ll finalize your training with Modules 9-12, covering advanced strategies and full leadership responsibilities.

Hybrid Work Model

This is a hybrid role. Client calls and prospecting activities are conducted from home; however, in-person consultations are required, and the role involves driving to meet with customers. Reliable transportation and comfort with face-to-face meetings are essential.

Overview:
The Sales Talent Development Coordinator will be responsible for identifying, interviewing, and onboarding new sales agents, as well as developing and delivering comprehensive training programs to equip them with the skills and knowledge needed for success. This role combines strategic recruitment expertise with hands-on training and development initiatives to build and sustain a high-performing sales team. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the organization attracts, retains, and develops top sales talent.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Talent Acquisition:
  • Support the recruitment process by posting job openings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and coordinating with hiring managers.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates to meet current and future sales team needs.
  • Training Programs:
  • Develop and execute onboarding programs for new sales hires to ensure rapid integration into the team.
  • Plan and facilitate regular training sessions focused on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer engagement.
  • Customize training approaches based on individual and team needs.
  • Development Initiatives:
  • Work closely with sales leadership to identify skill gaps and create development plans for team members.
  • Organize ongoing learning opportunities such as webinars, e-learning modules, and workshops.
  • Coordinate with external training providers when necessary.
  • Support & Coordination:

We are looking for a Tech Support Specialist with expertise in POS troubleshooting, credit card processing terminal installation and troubleshooting, onsite and over the phone installations, and menu programming to support our growing merchant base.

Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and train customers on-site and remotely on POS systems and credit card processing terminals.
  • Provide technical support for POS systems, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Handle credit card processing downloads, EMV terminal setups, and troubleshoot payment processing issues.
  • Assist customers with menu programming, item modifications, pricing setup, and custom configurations.
  • Manage support tickets efficiently, ensuring timely resolutions and excellent customer satisfaction.
  • Work with multiple POS brands and payment processors, diagnosing and fixing technical issues across different platforms.
  • Perform remote troubleshooting using tools like TeamViewer, Any Desk, or LogMeIn.
  • Guide customers on best practices for using their POS system and payment terminals.
  • Train new merchants on system functionality, reporting tools, and transaction processing.
  • Ensure a smooth onboarding process by assisting with initial system configuration and operational setup.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of customer interactions, troubleshooting steps, and solutions provided.
  • Escalate complex issues to the appropriate internal teams while ensuring customer concerns are addressed.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, maintaining a professional and friendly approach.

Requirements:

✅ 3+ years of experience in POS technical support, troubleshooting, and credit card processing.
✅ Expertise in POS system installation and setup, both onsite and remotely.
✅ Strong experience with credit card processing downloads, terminal configurations, and troubleshooting payment issues.
✅ Knowledge of menu programming, pricing setup, and modification management.
✅ Experience handling support tickets, phone/email/chat support, and escalations for multiple POS systems.
✅ Familiarity with Windows-based POS systems, cloud-based POS platforms, and networking configurations.
✅ Ability to diagnose hardware and software issues, including printers, scanners, cash drawers, and networking equipment.
✅ Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
✅ Excellent communication skills – ability to train and assist customers in a clear, friendly manner.
✅ Support-oriented mindset – patient, customer-focused, and able to handle high-pressure situations.
✅ Willingness to travel for onsite installations and training as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with POS brands such as Ovvi, Clover, NCR, PC America, Lightspeed, or other leading systems.
  • Understanding of PCI compliance, EMV payment security, and network security best practices.
  • Familiarity with SQL queries, API integrations, and cloud-based reporting tools.
  • Certifications in CompTIA A+, Network+, or other IT-related fields are a plus.
